Enjoy this glimpse of what you can discover on your own trip to the Azores Islands. The natural beauty defies description; sometimes a picture is the only way to express the beauty, peace, and simplicity of life in an island paradise. From birds to beaches, from mountain cliffs to white-capped surf, it is a pleasure to imagine oneself basking in the serenity of a slower life-style. Scenes on Velas, Pico, Terceira, and Faial include villages, small towns, and the architectural uniqueness of the streets, the churches, and other buildings in that rustic environment. Sometimes the vastly beautiful views feel isolated; especially those pictures of the fields, mountains, and ocean, but our pictures prove they are accessible by anyone with a camera!
